David O. Bales and Judy Bales

David O. Bales was a Presbyterian pastor for 33 years. He has been a freelance writer and an editor for StephenMinistries since 1994. He graduated in English from the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon in 1970 where he was the editor of the yearbook. He graduated from San Francisco Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in 1973. He served congregations in Enumclaw, Washington; Myrtle Point, Oregon; Miles City, Montana; Klamath Falls, Oregon; and Ontario, Oregon.

He met his wife Judy when they worked together on the college yearbook. They were married in 1971. They have three daughters: Katherine, Mary, and Lydia.

At Miles Community College, Miles City, Montana he taught Introduction to New Testament Greek; Introduction to Biblical Hebrew; Ethics; and World Religions. In the fall of 2008 he will teach New Testament Greek at College of Idaho: Caldwell, Idaho.

He was a freelance writer and editor for Stephen Ministries from 1994 to 2008.

He taught New Testament Greek at College of Idaho, Caldwell, Idaho in the 2008-2009 school year. He will teach it again in the 2010-2011 school year.
